The third sell out event of the Inter-Club Calendar was a delicious dinner at the Farmers Club celebrating the best of British produce.
Kicking off with a Sparkling English Wine Reception before moving onto a
feast of:
Layered Fish Terrine with a Lobster Cream and Samphire
Roast Stuffed Saddle of Elwy Valley Lamb served with Black Pudding, Button Onions and Lardons of Bacon and a Minted Kidney Sauce.
Pear and Raspberry Mousse with Pear William Sorbet
Selection of Fine English Cheeses
Coffee, mints and petit fours
Our thanks go to Elizabeth Benson and MaryAnne Salisbury for organising the event and for hosting us at the Farmers Club which was a perfect backdrop to the fine food and wine.
