The royal automobile club invited inter-club members and their guests to slip on their tux and evening dresses to make like James Bond as their Pall Mall clubhouse become a casino for the night.

The evening began with a champagne reception in the rac's committee room before guests were asked to take their seats in the Mountbatten room for a fabulous 3 course meal. a superb magician left guests mesmerised with magic that simply had to be seen to be believed. professional croupiers then hosted the casino tables as the roulette wheels began to spin and cards began to fall onto the blackjack tables until a winner was finally declared and a bottle of champagne awarded. a dj then spun the tunes until the early hours when guests descended on the rac's long bar for some final drinks before heading home.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and as such it is appropriate that the Committee gives great thanks to Sophie Lock, Jackie Dickinson and all the other RAC staff who helped to make this event such a success together with the RAC Younger Member representative, Chris Barsley who helped to organise and host the evening.
