The Younger Members' Inter-Club Group Ceilidh

We are pleased to report that there was a fine array of tartan on display at the Caledonian Club for the first Inter-Club Ceilidh and even a piper to lead everyone into dinner. Members and their guests warmed up with a champagne reception, Haggis, Neeps and Taties Buffet dinner before heading for the fully sprung dance floor to twirl and leap their way through numerous dances, all of which were expertly called by the band.

This event was billed as a fun introduction to Ceilidh dancing and people of all levels turned up to enjoy themselves. As everyone tucked into the midnight supper of Kedgeree there were already calls to make this an annual event. Many thanks to Leon, Fiona and all the team at the Caledonian Club for hosting such a fantastic evening and making everyone feel very welcome.
