Jazz Evening at the Savile Club

Friday 13th April 2007
Hosted by the Savile Club - 69 Brook Street W1K

More than 70 members and their guests assembled in the magnificent Louis XIV Ballroom of the Savile Club for an evening of canapes and jazz on Friday 13th April. Unlucky for some perhaps, it was those who had not managed to purchase a ticket that really missed out as the musicians, from the Trinity College of Music Greenwich, played four fantastic jazz sets during the evening.

After catching up with fellow members and making new friends over wine and canapes, the music inspired a number of revellers to take to the dance floor and strut their funky stuff under the sky painted ceiling of the gilded bijou Ballroom.

Many thanks to the Savile Club for hosting such a stylish event in their beautiful club house, the musicians of Trinity College for the foot tapping rhythms and to Ashley Parasram for giving us a potted history of the Club. All in all an excellent evening in the true spirit of the Inter-Club Group.
