Lunch in Paris at the Cercle de L'Union Interalliée

The Inter-Club Group headed for Paris the weekend after the Rugby World Cup Final for another lunch at Cercle de l'Union Interalliée. Last year's lunch in Paris had created a lot of expectation and we are pleased to report that this year's did not disappoint. The club and the food were magnificent and our thanks go to the National Liberal Club for organising everything so smoothly.

As most people had decided to make a weekend of it the entertainment continued with afternoon tea at Ladurée on Champs-ÉlyséesChampagne at the Travellers Club and then dinner at nearly midnight!

Sunday was spent either shopping or catching up on the cultural attractions of Paris. As we headed home by Eurostar on Sunday evening the conversation was where to go next year. Paris, Rome, Edinburgh? We will let you know as soon as plans are in hand.
