Taste buds and stomachs were tested to the limit at the Savile Club as 101 members devoured a delicious meal...but backwards! Starting with whisky and coffee, attendees were given a bit of dutch courage to work their way through a tongue twisting menu of a three cheese selection, chocolate orange tart, a succulent (mouth watering) filet of beef with artichoke heart, topped off by spiced crab and champagne.  

The dinner took place in the Savile's beautiful georgian style ball room and guests were entertained by host Ashley who recounted how the Club was seeped in history, whilst boasting some interesting and eccentric characters. 

The evening ended in the Club's oak panelled bar where guests could return to normality and consume the drinks their stomachs had been expecting!
