The Flirty St Valentine’s Rotational Feast

The Farmers Club hosted a real Valentines Feast against the backdrop of a pink London Eye. The first Inter-Club Valentines dinner to be held at the Farmers Club, the evening was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. With over 40 guests a full range of participating Clubs were represented including the Farmers, Royal Automobile, Carlton, Royal Over-Seas League, Oxford and Cambridge, Lansdowne and Saville.

A pink champagne reception was followed by a five-course dinner of oysters, sea-bass, love apple soup, fillet of beef and finally a heart shaped chocolate and orange mouse pudding. A complicated circulation system during the dinner ensured that all guests managed to mingle whilst at the table and after a glass of port the party retired to the Club bar for further drinks.
